Another good job for you would be babysitting. If you are responsible 13-year-old then you can make some pretty good money by being the local neighborhood babysitter who will come over and watch over your neighbor's kids while they are out at work or having a night out on the town. The best part of this job other than the pay (which is around $7 to $13 depending on the neighborhood in which you live) is that you can usually watch TV with the kids while they are awake or asleep. It's a very laid back job and the only thing you need to focus on doing is making sure that you are within eyesight range of the kids that you are taking care of. It is a great part-time job which is flexible enough to also allow you the time off to hang out with your friends or do schoolwork.
Now be sure before applying for any job that you and your parents can check your state's job law requires. Some states here might actually need you to have a job permit so do your homework before deciding to venture out and apply for a job.
